Chris Glenn is a Nagoya based, Australian born radio DJ, historian and Inbound Tourism Advisor.
Chris appears on TV programs across Japan and hosts the internationally broadcast NHK World series Ninja Truth and Castle Quest. A samurai history, culture and castle researcher, he has visited over 450 samurai castles across Japan. In addition to serving as a seminar lecturer at Japan’s largest annual castle event, “Castle EXPO,” he often gives lectures and talk shows, and co-stars with castle researchers. As an inbound Tourism Advisor he serves on various local, regional and national government agency and promotional boards consulting on the development, marketing and promotion of local destinations. He writes and supervises English websites, pamphlets, signs and other information tools. Chris was appointed the Omi Tourism Ambassador in 2020, planning and supervising the National Treasure Hikone Castle Experience App, showcasing Hikone Castle’s many features and points of interest.
