Yasachi is a farm restaurant that opened in 2018. It’s operated by the Farm Kanaya agricultural cooperative in Kōra-cho.
The restaurant has been renovated from an old private house and it’s equipped with a processing facility.
All the food is prepared by housewives who are used to cooking at home for their families. The lunch menu, which is limited to twenty meals, changes every month, and includes dishes using seasonal ingredients produced locally. One of the local specialties is black bean croquette. This is truly the taste of home cooking.
Yasachi operates as a café at teatime from 14:00 to 15:00. Sweets such as chiffon cake made with rice flour and strawberries or black beans wrapped in bean paste and mochi are also popular.
These sweets, as well as agricultural and processed products are sold at the shop here.
